摘要

「濁上歸去」是唐代中期以後北方開始發生的一項變化。這項變化不見於當時的南方，而今天幾已波及整個的漢語方言，可見它是一條影響面極廣的演變規律。從今天方言的反映來看，「濁上歸去」可依「次濁上」的走向區別為「官話型」（北方型）、「吳語型」（南方型」和介於其間的過渡方言幾種類型。本文認為，造成這些不同演變方向和類型的原因，是南北方言對待次濁上的方式不同，也就是結構上有所不同；而許多方言次濁上之所以兩分，也可以從同一角度獲得解釋。因此這項研究可以充分顯示規律傳播和音韻變化的動態過程。
