摘要

本文旨在闡述易數與中國傳統科學之關係，分別就易數與曆數、數學、天文學、鍊丹術之關係加以討論。在數學方面，作者舉秦九韶對大衍數的討論，見易數之影響，在天文學方面，則舉葛洪用易卦解釋張衡渾天說以及易數在天文、地理學表示方位之例。本文最主要的討論，是在解釋魏伯陽《參用契》中如何以易數發揮其鍊丹理論，並指出自魏伯陽以下，鍊丹理論的文字轉為簡明的體裁，但到了九世紀中又有回到隱晦的風格，並多應用易數的趨向。
