摘要

一、殷代宗廟排序，五廟三列（限甲組基址），甲十二基址為五廟之一，而位居中列，故稱中宗。
二、甲十二基址的內部組織，前無設施，後為祭台，祭台分上下兩層，左右十格。左右代表世，上下層置示，上層為上示，下層為下示。位置與結構，均合於大乙九示之宗廟。
三、陽甲之廟素有問題，今甲十二基址內有十格，屯南甲骨有中宗祖丁、祖甲連言，據此則將陽甲定位在中宗之內。
四、史記稱太戊為中宗，竹書稱祖乙為中宗，戩壽甲骨稱“中宗祖乙”，屯南甲骨稱“中宗祖丁”他們的說法都對，因為中宗為宗廟的名稱，而非個人的稱號。
