摘要

周初年代問題，到現在仍有多種設計。但有關月食問題除去董作賓先生的《殷曆譜》曾經強調過以外，其餘各家都很少接觸到，這當然對於年代問題有所不足。最近張秉權先生發表〈甲骨文中的『甲午月食』問題〉首先提到有關月食問題的疑問，可以說才引起討論這個問題的重視。其實月食問題才是決定年代疑團的重點，本論文作者以前曾提出前1025為設想的武王克商年，現在已知張先生認定“壬午月食”確應訂正為“甲午月食”，是確定不移的。因而本篇對於其他的“癸卯月食”，“壬申月食”，“庚申月食”也都再加以評定。可以確認的是(1)照“前1025”系統，全部月食皆可放在武丁時期，別的擬定做不到。(2)《殷曆譜》對於每一個月食，都要將干支原貌加以更改（如把癸酉設法算作壬申，把辛酉換作庚申二類），“前1025”系統，皆可照原干支放入，不必更改。這些“順理成章”的事，是原來未曾料及的，是經實驗才知道的。這個關鍵問題既解釋清楚，那就從來爭論很大的殷周年代，也就不難順利解決了。
