摘要

本文主要在描述從先秦到六朝介詞「於」的消亡過程及介詞組詞序上的變化。本文根據文獻上所顯示的現象，指出自兩漢起介詞組詞序上的變化及連動句式的發達，導致動詞後介詞「於」功能的趨於解消，同時也導致「於」的消失。本文並根據甲骨文與先秦經典在介詞組詞序上的差別及漢語後來的變化，推測原始漢語可能經歷過一個語言融合的階段，在這個階段中不同類型語言彼此進行接觸與混合，因此在早期的文獻中才呈現詞序上的那種複雜面貌，我們也據此嘗試對介詞「於」的演變機制提出了一套我們的解釋。本文在章節的安排是這樣的：第一節為前言；第二節描述先秦介詞「於」的用法，並特別給甲骨文介詞「于」的用法作了一番較詳細的描寫，以作為討論時比較的根據；第三節描述在兩漢六朝中含「於」詞組的句式怎麼由別種句式取代的過程；第四節則對二、三節中所描寫的現象及變化提出筆者自己的解釋。
