摘要

（一）西魏時期，宇文政權中有宇文泰親信、賀拔勝集團、侯莫陳悅餘部、魏帝禁軍、魏帝追隨部隊、賀拔岳餘部等勢力集團。（二）六柱國各統二大將軍，其軍府轄區擬定如下：宇文泰，督中外軍，華州；元欣，從容宮闈；李弼，統豆盧寧楊忠，洛水流域；李虎，統元育元贊，長安一帶；獨孤信，統宇文導元廓，隴右；趙貴，統宇文貴王雄，岐雍至秦嶺；于謹，統達奚武賀蘭祥，渭水下游；侯莫陳崇，統李遠侯莫陳順，涇水流域。宇文泰將地方勢力按其大小編入中央軍之中，同時也按親疏將軍府自心臟地帶向外作輻射設計。（三）大統九年以前參與宇文政權者，北鎮將領五十五人，非北鎮將領六十一人。大統九年「廣募關隴豪右以增軍旅」，最主要的是收服涇洛之間羌族並編入府兵，鞏固了雍州至華州之心臟地區。（四）關河一帶的北鎮軍士、漢豪族、羌氐豪右等，其社會組織以城坊、塢壁、部落為單位，是府兵制度成立之社會背景。（五）府兵制度在大統十六年以前是職業軍人時代，十六年至開皇十年是職業軍人與「兵農合一」並存時代，開皇十年至唐代廢除府兵制度為止，是「兵農合一」時代。
