Abstract

For further development of the Chinese legal culture this article suggests (1) that some senior scholars specializing in the study of this culture take the initial steps to draw a picture showing a bird’s eye view of its past development; (2) that all scholars in the same field, using modern communication technologies, establish closer working relations in order to cooperate on projects designed to fill in the gaps in the study of this culture; (3) that for five academic years a university in China create a course on comparative legal culture to be taught by a senior Chinese scholar together with ten foreign ones (one for each semester) and offered to post graduate students from all parts of China.
