IHP Welcomes New Assistant Research Fellow Dr. Kevin Kind

Dr. Kevin Kind received his PhD from the Department of History at Johns Hopkins University in 2024. Dr. Kind specializes in modern Chinese history, Qing history, the history of Xinjiang, the history of the Uyghur peoples, the history of epidemics, and the history of medicine. As of March 16, 2026, Dr. Kind has joined the IHP as an assistant research fellow and is affiliated with the Anthropology Department.
