Introduction

This is the second volume in the set, and the sixteen ethnic groups pictured in this book were all included in the first volume as well. These are the people who live in the mountain valleys of the Chinese Southwest, as well as on the borders with Myanmar, Laos and Northern Vietnam. Names of the aboriginal groups on the pictures are shown in the conventional way.
