This manuscript is the posthumous work from late IHP fellow Yan Geng Wang, and is edited by Lee Qi Wen.  Except one previously published chapter and another which was not yet completed at the time of his passing, the other chapters in this manuscript are all first drafts.  The original manuscript also contains many side notes, and are now placed into the main text by the editor.
