Visiting Scholar—Professor Chirui Hu

Chirui Hu, Professor of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Peking University, has been invited to visit the IHP from October 1 to 7 and will hold a lecture on the morning of October 2 titled “Examples of Using Excavated Texts for the Textual Study of the Shuowen Jiezi and Guangya”.

Prof. Hu’s research interests focus on Ancient Chinese, historical Chinese syntax, and vocabulary.
