Visiting Scholar—Professor Beverly Bossler
Beverly Bossler, professor of East Asian studies and of history at Brown University, has been invited to visit the IHP from June 3 to 15 and will hold a lecture on the morning of June 12 titled “Mixed Emotions: Song Dynasty Writings for Wives and Concubines.”
Prof. Bossler specializes in the Tang, Yuan, and Song dynasties, with specific focus on social, intellectual, and gender history.
