Professor Nicolas Tackett

Nicolas Tackett, professor of the Department of History at the University of California, Berkeley, will visit the IHP through May 8-18, and deliver a public lecture on May 11. Prof. Tackett has published notable works including The Destruction of the Medieval Chinese Aristocracy (English-language edition 2014; Chinese 2017) and The Origins of the Chinese Nation: Song China and the Forging of an East Asian World Order (English 2017; Chinese 2020).
