All Libraries Are Closed and Have New Procedures for Borrowing and Returning Materials Beginning May 17 (Monday)

Beginning May 17, in accordance with directives set forth by Academia Sinica, all libraries are closed. New procedures for the borrowing and returning of materials are as follows:

1. Readers Not Affiliated with Academia Sinica: Please borrow and return materials through the Nationwide Document Delivery Service.

2. Readers Affiliated with Academia Sinica:

Returning Materials: Please return borrowed materials to the drop boxes located at their respective library. After a library staff member processes the return, a confirmation email will be sent to your inbox.

Borrowing Materials: Please make your material request using the online public access catalog or by email (fsndb@asihp.net). After a library staff member processes your request, a confirmation email that your materials are ready to be picked up will be sent to your inbox. After receiving the confirmation email, you have three days to pick up your requested materials from the lockers at the entrance of the library. If the materials have not been picked up within three days, they will be returned to the shelves.
