SAGAWA Eiji, professor in the Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology and the Faculty of Letters, The University of Tokyo, has been invited to visit the IHP from April 18 to 27 and will hold a lecture on the morning of April 21 titled “The ‘Capital’ as a Ritual Object: Imperial Rituals and City Planning in Ancient China.”
Prof. SAGAWA specializes in the history of the Northern Dynasties, the history of capitals, and stone carvings.
