AB  - Studies of Fascicle Three of Inscriptions from the Yin Ruins, Volume I republishes research by the Institute of History and Philology’s professor Chang Bing-chuan, including Xiaodun No. Two—Yinxu Writing—Fascicle Three with Annotations Volume 1 Part 1 (1957), Volume 1 Part 2 (1959), Volume 2 Part 1 (1962), Volume 2 Part 2 (1965), Volume 3 Part 1 (1967), and Volume 3 Part 2 (1972), a total of six volumes. Now together in one volume, these are paired with English translations.  The glosses and annotations of Fascicle Three, are translated and edited by Serruys and Takashima (Serruys’s editing ends at No. 259 of 632).  Chang Bing-chuan’s explanations are also translated and further commented upon.  The goal of this volume is to reach a correct understanding of oracle bones.
